A popular MCA from Kuria West constituency, elected on an ODM ticket claimed in a leaked video that he cheated his party and leader Raila Odinga that he was sick.

The vocal MCA said when he was instructed to attended the Monday ODM meeting which called for impeachment of governor Okoth Obado he claimed to have been sick.

“The good part is that when i was called i told Raila i am sick, and he says he knows i am sick. So that is why i am not in Nairobi,” he boosts.
He was speaking, as from 5 minutes, in a leaked video which is over 9 minutes long hosted by a MCA from Kuria East constituency elected on Jubilee party ticket.
The video was taken from a phone by a fellow MCAs and the others seemed not to have known about it.
The video seems to have been shot on Monday and brought together several Kuria MCAs to react against the impeachment and how best to save Obado.
When asked by a colleague if Raila asks him of his stance, the ODM MCA boosts that Raila and ODM was lucky he didn’t attend.

“I could have said in their faces that they are sending a bad precedence as any governor who makes a mistake will be impeached,” he boosts.
He ends up saying he will never support the motion.
“Even if you resolve to impeach Obado, i will never sign the motion. Over my dead body,” he vows.
He said there was no grounds to impeach Obado as no court barred him.
He hints that senator Ochilo Ayacko is out to push though the impeachment, but will tell him that he will also be impeached in less than ten years if he wins.
He said that the problem will be nominated MCAs, a total of 17 in the assembly, is that if they are threatened with being degazetted they will support the motion in both ODM and Jubilee.
“But if we get 17 of us against the motion we will be able to defeat it, we are good,” he said.
