A leaked video doing rounds on social media has shown several MCAs allied to governor Okoth Obado crunching numbers and strategy on how to defeat the looming impeachment motion.

The video, shot in a clandestine way by one of the colleagues show the group seated in an eucalyptus groove likely on Monday when ODM party issued the bombshell instructing her 41 members on the move.

A vocal MCA from Ntimaru area of Kuria East constituency and the face of Obado administration is the man behind the meeting and chairs it by bringing it to order..

The vocal MCA is the one who called on marshaled the meeting which was impromptu.

“Even if we fail to prop the governor or floor the motion, we have to stand with Obado to be on the right side of politics in 2022,” the ring leader says.

He then goes ahead to crunch up the numbers they will need to stick up to prop Obado, insisting all Kuria MCAs will have to stand up.

A vocal ODM MCAs who cheated Raila and ODM party of sickness to skip the meeting warns that Jubilee 2 nominated MCAs from Kuria will desert them.

“When Jubilee makes the call to impeach Obado, those two will just do that for fear of being de-gazetted,” he says and insists Raila will never bully him to leave Obado.

The MCAs insist they just need 17 MCAs, out of 57 to drop the motion in Migori.
