Migori governor Okoth Obado on July 12 appeared before Milimani Law courts to commence the ten days hearing of his murder charges.

The .@ODPP_KE is set to present sufficient evidence to prove the case against Obado and co accused, the prosecutor said on twitter

The trial of Obado in murder of Sharon and her unborn baby kicks off with limited people in the court with government Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor testifying as first witness.

Prosecution led by SADPP Catherine Mwaniki told court that the accused persons took advantage of the vulnerability of Sharon being a university student.

Oduor said the cause of death of the late Sharon was severe hemorrhage due to penetrating force trauma & there were features of manual strangulation.

The fetus aged 28 weeks was male, with a stab wound on the abdomen.
