Workers who haven’t reported to work after elections will be sacked- Obado

Migori governor Okoth Obado has threatened to sack all county employees who have not reported to work after elections.

Obado was addressing the press today after conducting an inspection at the county facility.

Obado said he will not condone laziness and absenteeism within his government when he takes over in his second term.
He also refuted claims that he had cracked the whip on some county officials who did not support him during the campaigns.

Two weeks ago, some county officials were assaulted by youths on claims that they never campaigned for the governor with other suspected to have campaigned for his main rival Ochillo Ayacko.
