Mbadi, ODM Shouldn’t Panic by Insulting Me and Ruto’s Men- ANYANGA

Former Nyatike MP Edick Anyanga has downplayed an event organized by the Orange Democratic Movement in Alendo last week to popularize the party.

Anyanga said that it was absurd that the area legislator Tom Odege hosted a platoon of opposition leader Raila Odinga’s men in Alendu in what turned out to be a rally to insult local leaders.

“We have left the ODM party and we are firmly in government and other parties, if we are not a threat then why attack us in all rallies,” Anyanga said.

He was speaking on Monday at Macalder center where he led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in a registration drive.

“We have already received many defectors from grassroots apart from both elected and former leaders who held office, this has sent shockwaves across the region,” Anyanga said.

During the ODM rally leaders led by ODM chairman and nominated MP John Mbadi insulted anger for not showing gratitude after the party hosted him in parliament for two terms ending 2017.

Mbadi said Anyanga’s wife Anne Omodho was also offered the party Deputy Governor ticket in 2013 and both were appointed in boards under the handshake government.

Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi and Suna West MP Peter Masara also took a swipe at the chairman of the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) for being arrogant and not contributing strongly in parliament.

“I have never clashed with Mbadi or any ODM leader directly because they are my friends, I know they are being pushed to attack colleagues but we leave the rest to God and voters to decide ahead of next polls,” Anyanga said.

Among the electorates wooed to UDA are a former deputy chair ODM in the county William Odhil and Former Councillor Michael Odoyo who was an ODM representative for North Kadem ward.

Former Kanyasa MCA Jackie Paul also decamped to the UDA party.
