Headteachers in Nyatike will be used to help in the vetting exercise of the needy, poor and vulnerable students to help them get the bursaries from the constituency.

The member of parliament of Nyatike Edick Omondi Anyanga said that the headteachers of secondary schools in the area will be used to vet the credible students who will get the funds appropriately.

He said that the school heads and other teachers have the full knowledge of the students and are able to process the forms for them without disappointing the parents and guardians.

The principal of Sori Secondary and chairman of Nyatike Head teachers Principals Kenas Ochieng echoed the legislator’s sentiments and said that other members of parliament should embrace the same ideas and make sure that the vulnerable and needy get educated amicably.

He said that the headteachers will not use political rhetorics to do the vetting exercise in the constituency.
