Bruno Gives Suna East First Football Tournament In Decade, 32 Teams Up For Prices

Suna East constituency is set to get a first football tournament in ten years after an aspirant chirped in.

Businessman Bruno Liende and MP aspirant has organised a football tournament for April when schools closes.

Speaking to Migori News over the phone, the politician said apart from nurturing talent the tournament will be vital during April holidays.

Football lovers and voters in Suna East have been yearning for tournament sponsored by NG-CDF kitty.

“We have seen there is a big gap to nurture talents in Suna East, we will opened it up as we plan to make it bigger after 2027 elections,” he said.

He said so far 32 teams from the four wards have signed up.

“We anticipated a small number but as organisers we are happy across Suna East four wards the outcome was perfect,” he said.

The games will be played between 8-14 April with the following cash prices up for grabs:

  • 150,000 + jersey + medal for number 1
  • 100,000 + jersey + medal for number 2
  • 75,000 + jersey + medal for number 3
  • 50,000 + jersey + medal for number 4
  • 25,000 + jersey for number 5
  • 10,000 + jersey for number 6
  • Best goalkeeper 30,000
  • Best player 30,000
  • Top scorer 30,000
