All set as teams line up for Nyamita’s Uriri Tukuza Talanta fourth edition

Over 200 teams have lined up for the Fourth Edition of Uriri NG-CDF sponsored Tukuza Talanta Tournament.

The tourney starts on Saturday December 19 with teams being drawn from across the constituency.

Uriri MP Mark Nyamita in a press statement said the tournament is “expected to further
scout for, nurture and expose raw talents.”

“The annual games additionally motivate the future generation through mentorship and quality instructions on life skills,” Nyamita said.

The games will take place simultaneously in all five wards with the following timelines:

a. Ward level Kick-off: 19th-22nd 2020
b. Constituency Kick-off: 27th– 29th 2020
c. Finals: 30th December 2020 (Thimjope Primary School)

The winner in all genres will get Sh30,000, first, second and third winners will get Sh25,000, Sh15,000 and Sh10,000 — respectively.

Ward Level Tournament Venues:

  • West Kanyamkago: Korwa Grounds, and City Bay Grounds. Finals: Kambogo Grounds.
  • East Kanyamkago: Arambe School, Thimjope Pri., and Finals: Thimjope Primary
  • Central Kanyamkago: Kalii School, Kagito School, and Finals at Pinyowacho Grounds
  • South Kanyamkago: Lwala School, Bware School, and finals at Mukuyu Primary School
  • North Kanyamkago: Koduogo Grounds, Rapogi Mixed Primary School, and finals at Koduogo Grounds.

Constituency Finals

East Kanyamkago Ward will have the rotational privilege of hosting this year’s constituency￾level games from the 27th to 30th December 2020 at Thimjope Primary School.

This year’s tournament has been preceded by coaches’ training done by the Football Kenya.
