Suna West MP Peter Masara has termed as unfortunate chaos that rocked assembly last week in debate for passing of the fuel levy.

Masara who came out in support of the move by parliament to pass the levy and chided his colelagues for disrupting and singing in the house.

Masara said the chaos that greeted the passing of the law and voting on Thursday was unfortunate, but necessary to help the country from slipping further in debt.

“Parliament is not a place to sing, if my colleagues badly needed to sing they could have waited until weekend and do so in their churches,” Masara said.
