(VIDEO) Kuria Mourns Senior Police Gitiba Mwita, Burial Set For December 29

The Kuria community and family of the late senior Assistant Inspector of police for Border Patrol Unit Gitiba Mwita continue to mourn him.

The family has set December 29 as the burial date and have requested president William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua to grace the burial at his home in Nguku Mahando village Migori County. 

In the address Kuria community local leaders also said the late Gitiba Mwita was a dedicated civil servant who served the security docket diligently and efficiently.

The late Gitiba Mwita was assistant inspector General of police for border patrol units. 

He was found unconscious in his house at Matuu Town in Machakos County and was pronounced dead at the Matuu hospital. 

The body of the late is preserved at Umash funeral home awaiting postmortem to establish cause of death.
