Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has blamed Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago for assassination attempt.

He also blamed Soy MP Caleb Kositany for the attack.

“For today’s unfortunate events, I hold Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago and Sou MP Hon. Caleb Kositany responsible,” Raila said.

Raila had attended Mzee Jackson Kibor’s funeral at Iten area and attempt to address a rally there was thwarted by an angry mob.

Raila also attempted to address another Rally in Soy which saw his chopper being stoned.

He said the incident was unfortunate and he hoped the next polls will be peaceful.

The plan tried to take off and landed again as the occupants, including Suna East MP Junet Mohammed picked alternative means of transport.
