ODM leader Raila Odinga kicked off a huge party registration drive to secure his Migori county backyard.
Odinga joked that those who have been telling him to go home and retire should wake up from rude shock, as he seeks to stamp political authority against inroads by United Democratic Authority belonging to President William Ruto.
“I heard Ruto and his team lying they have registered over 100,000 people in Migori, where are those people? Ruto lies, Ruto lies everyday and that is Ruto’s character,” Odinga said.
This was Raila itinerary for Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday 25th November, 2023
- 11:00 AM–1:30 PM- Arrival and attendance of the burial of Hon. Abedi Maroa in Masaba Ward, Kuria West.
- 2:00 PM—3:00 PM- Party Registration Drive at Macalder Polytechnic, Nyatike
- 4:00 PM–5:00 PM- Leaders meeting at County headquarters.
SUNDAY 26TH NOVEMBER, 2023
- 9:00 AM –10:00 AM: Rongo Subcounty Hospital
- 10:30 AM–1:30 PM: opening of ODM Party Office in Rongo.
- Party registration drive at Rongo Market.
