Homa Bay senator candidate Ojanga: Raila lost because of ODM six-piece nonsense

Push for Orange Democratic Movement six piece voting pattern is to be blamed for Raila Odinga losing the presidential vote on August 9, former Homa Bay Senator aspirant Tom Ojanga has said.

Ojanga, who vied on a Kanu ticket said the six piece voting pattern has brought the Luo community misery and underdevelopment. 

In Homa Bay, the ODM party clinched all MPs, county and MCA seats except six for independent MCAs.

“Six piece has retarded our growth as a society and  denied Baba 700’000 votes which were not cast in the Nyanza region in the last elections six piece  has denieied Baba the presidency,” said Ojanga.

In the six piece voting pattern,voters especially in the ODM strongholds were required for those vying on party’ ticket up from the Presidency,Governor,Woman representative,Senator all the MPs and MCA.

Ojanga however attributed various contributions Raila has made for the country saying he Raila) will ever remain his hero and mentor.

“Baba (as Raila is fondly being reffered to by his supporters)  has made his contribution to Kenya,generations will thank him for that,he will  forever remain  my hero and mentor,” said Ojanga.

President William Ruto was on Monday 5, declared as the duly elected the fifth President of Kenya by the seven  Supreme Court of Kenya judges of Kenya.
