The Migori county ODM youth leader Eric Opany has gone Absent Without Leave (Awol) on social media and social media sparking rumours of his political stance in the governor race.

The former right hand man of Migori Women Representative Dennitah Ghati was pro governor aspirant Ochilo Ayako on social media and in political functions.

Opany, right towards the April 24 primaries formed a major back borne of Ayako campaigns and was key in putting those against his man then in line either in real life or in social media.

Then during Madaraka Day when governor Okoth Obado was cleared as ODM candidate, Opany turned up at Migori County Stadium, had a heated chat with Obado before he was called to address the crowd.

A day later Opany was harassed by the crowd at Posta grounds when he turned up for Ayako’s rally.

“In Obado’s camp we don’t trust him, while we hear in the other camp he is not welcomed. He is not in the middle,” a blogger in Obado’s camp told Migori News.

Opany has ever since kept silence in social media, with the public expecting him to declare his stance soon afterwards.
