Hon Edick Anyanga greeting Sadat’s mother at the funeral

In next polls ODM’s free and fair call for party nominations will be for loyal members, Nyatike MP Edick Anyanga has said.

Anyanga warned ODM rebels trooping back to the party not start demanding for certificates and fair nominations through the back door.

He said elected ODM leaders who went to bed with Jubilee as rebels and those who were elected on other parties in Nyanza are now demanding certificates as a demand of jumping ship.

“First these leaders have been demanding outright ODM certificates before defecting back to party ahead of primaries while at the same time urging for free and fair nominations process, that is being insincere,” Anyanga said.

He said while others were defecting there are leaders in Nyanza who have been sticking with Cord leader Raila Odinga and the ODM party.

“Those defecting back should not expect free and fair nominations for benefit of those who stuck on with ODM,” he said.

The legislator was speaking at the funeral of Anwar Sadat from North Kamagambo ward, Uriri constituency on Wednesday.
