Migori county governor Okoth Obado has vowed to sack all striking health workers who don’t report to work by 8:00am tomorrow.

The enraged Obado said as the county CEO he has directed all the striking health workers in the county to report to work failure of which they will be fired.

Obado said the strike is illegal and cannot be tolerated terming it as work of people with “their own negative agenda for the county.”

Addressing the press as the health workers withdraw their services for
the second day, Governor Obado said the strike is illegal and cannot
be tolerated adding that it has been instigated by a few individuals
who have their own negative agenda for the county.

He said the demands by the health workers are not genuine and county does not have money for promotions.
