Migori governor Ochillo Ayacko and Suna West MP Peter Masara on Tuesday met with the Migori Youth team ahead of their clash with Wazito FC on Saturday.
The two leaders met with the team at the Migori State House.
“We had a meeting with Migori Youth FC because we are proud of it and we hope and wish we get promoted to Kenya Premier League,” Ayacko said.
He said as a measure to support sports he will ensure the Migori stadium, which he received in dilapidated condition from former governor Okoth Obado will be completed.
“We will improve our stadium despite limited funds despite, we will ensure we provide dressing rooms, lightings, other facilities,” he said.
Masara said it is high time for youth to take up sports as a talent and income by developing their career.
Apart from the blessing, the leaders will cover on their cost of transport, four days accommodation, and match expenses.
Ayacko donated Sh300,000 to the team with Masara topping it up with Sh50,000
