Tony Obondo’s case a pointer of insecurity, intolerance in county- Dannitah Ghati

By Dennitah Ghati

My Migori family, I have learnt of the brutal killing of youth Tony Obondo in Migori this morning with a lot of pain.

I knew Tony as a vibrant young man from the political circles. I am also disturbed by the increasing insecurity and killings targeting the youths in my county. From Awendo to Rongo to Isebania the youths have no peace.

I want the CID and police to bring to book culprits killing our young people. I urge the youths to desist from being used by anybody for their own interests. Youths, tolerate each other. Avoid insulting each other whether on social media or in public.

We are children of one mother and father. Learn to forgive. I learnt that along ago and that’s why am at peace with my maker. Detractors have no space to destroy you when you are at peace..believe me. We want to secure our Migori for our investors and development. We cannot do this when our county is hostile to ourselves. My condolences to Tonny’s family and friends. RIP Wuod Uriri.
