In this day and age, it is madness for a parade commander to keep yelling his lungs out. Can’t we buy him a loudspeaker for heaven’s sake?

As a matter of fact, even that is unnecessary.

It shouldn’t be too expensive to fit a small gadget in each soldier’s ear to enable them hear the parade commander whisper, ”Quick march!”

Something else with the army…… that business of asking the commander-in-chief for permission to march off the parade isn’t a great idea.

Has it ever occured to them that the commander-in-chief might one day be in a foul mood and refuse to grant permission?
