As Migori governor race to replace Okoth Obado whose term ends in 2022 is gaining pace, a new aspirant has sent tongues wagging.
Aspirant Robert Kennedy Okongo in several photos released by his bloggers has a conspicuous small brown bag always strap around his shoulder.
The aspirant, newest entrant to the crowded field first came to public limelight at a funds drive at Ombo Secondary School in Uriri constituency hosted by area legislator Mark Nyamita.
The drive was graced by ODM leader Raila Odinga’s wife Ida.
He attended the function together with his small brown bag strapped over his shoulder.
The aspirant is said to be hailing from Kokuro area in Awendo constituency and his entry, only weeks old has seen a flurry of activities from his online mujahideen.
Apart from many manifestos he will have to give to people, the content of the bag will be among them.
Voters will wish to know whether their is money, a trickster charm to woo voters or just personal effects.
And above all, his personal attachment to the bag.
