In a viral video, the legislator is seen preaching passionately at the University of Nairobi carrying a bible.

Owino believes that only righteous leaders can help the people they rule, and poor citizens gets punished by God by choosing poor leaders.

“Comrade, when leaders are not righteous it’s the people who should be punished,” Owino said.

The video comes to an end as Owino leads his comrades in singing, calling for the spirit of the lord to come down to the country.

This comes after Owino beat Jaguar in parliament shouting “Raila is president”, with a viral video hitting the mass media.

Owino is also facing legal battle after he called President Uhuru Kenyatta a ‘puppy’
