Uhuru called Monday Jubilee MPs meeting to call us washenzi- Kuria

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has thrown political barbs at President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of Monday June 22 Parliamentary Group meeting of Jubilee Party.

Kuria, a key ally of Deputy President William Ruto and major proponent of Jubilee Asili threw the barbs on his Facebook page.

“Shenzi! Kumanina! Wajinga! Kama wewe ni mwanaume ongea hapa! Na hauna chochote! These are words we will hear on Monday at the Jubilee PG,” Kuria posted.

Within eight hours the post had attracted close to 8k reaction and 3k comments.

Kuria, in a thinly veiled attack at Kenyatta’s temperament said the presidnt insults will cover all legislators in equal measure from 24 years old Paul Mwirigi from Meru county to old legislators.

Earlier over the weekend, President Kenyatta as the Jubilee Party leader called the meeting to each and every Jubilee party leader.

“Mheshimiwa, I wish to invite you for a Jubilee Coalition, National Assembly Parliamentary Group Meeting at Kenyatta International Conference Center, on Monday 22nd June 2020 at 9am,” the text said.

Kenyatta urged members to be punctual.

The meeting comes amid tension between Kenyatta and his deputy Ruto over party leadership and 2022 general elections.
