A victim of Awendo panga cuts
Three people died when chaos tied to the ongoing ODM elections polls broke out in Awendo and Rongo constituencies.
Two people died after chaos erupted at Ringa Primary School, Sakwa Kadera area of Awendo constituency in the ongoing Orange Democratic Movement grass root elections.
Another man was killed in chaos at Rongo constituency.
The victims had deep panga and knife wounds.
A victim was pronounced dead when he arrived at Rongo District Hospital, another died while undergoing treatment while the last one died as he was being rushed to Migori Referral Hospital.
Rongo OCPD Muganda Kisaka confirmed the incident saying they have launch investigations.
On Saturday at Ringa in Awendo, two people escaped death narrowly after being attacked by pangas over climas of multiple lists of leaders.
Nicholas Odhiambo, 30, and Gordon Ochieng’ were treated and discharged from Rongo Level Four Hospital.
