Shock as Nakuru High student from Rongo sent home in unclear circumstances

A student from Rongo has been chased away from Nakuru High for a whole term over unclear circumstances.

Gordon Odhiambo Oloo, a form two student said he was first chased away from school on May 6 for reporting late.

Oloo obtained A plain grade from Arundo Primary School from Rongo despite his parents, peasant farmers struggling with his fees.

His father, John Oloo Rayugi escorted him back to school and was shocked when he told t take him for medical check up.

The father pleaded with them in vain as the Principal and deputy insisted that they will allow him back forcing them to travel back.

“We don’t know what our son problem is and why a checkup is needed,” he said.

The principal Mike Yator could not be reached for comment but the parents appealed to the education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha to intervene to enable the student resume studies.
