Police in Rongo are searching for a Migori nominated MCAs whose building collapsed on Tuesday in Kitere center.
The single storey building on Dora Hostels which was under construction collapsed killing on the spot Christine Akinyi, civil engineering student at Siala Institute in Rongo.
She was out on internship at the site.
Rongo OCPD Joel Kiptum said the body of the deceased was taken to local morgues hospitals with several injured.
North Kanyajuok assistant chief Joseph Nyamanga, said the building which was under construction started to be shake on pillars with workers fleeing the work.
“A woman died, she is yet to be identified or if she was part of workers at the scene,” Nyamanga said.
The two said they will arrest the leader and charge her with manslaughter and placing lives in danger.
