Uriri MP Mark Nyamita on Sunday hosted government dignitaries in his backyard.

Nyamita hosted speaker Moses Wetangula, Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumincha and PSs Raymond Omollo and Moses Motari.

Others who attended the function are Suba South MP Caroli Omondi, Ben Shibali (Ikolomani), Fred Kana (Shinyalu), Marwa Kitayama (Kuria East), Beatrice Elachi (Dagoreti North) and Kakai Bissau (Kimilili).

MCAs who attended were Eunice Odii (Central Kanyamkago), Peter Mijungu (West Kanyamkago), Olima Bonyo (North Kadem) and George Omamba (North Kanyamkago).

“We are grateful to have these dignitaries here, we want to encourage Nyamita to continue with the same trend of working with the national government,” Mijungu said.

Omamba said time of politics is over and despite the area missing the presidential seat they are working with government.

“Despite not voting in Kenya Kwanza when they open their arms to work with us we will work with them closely and we are behind Nyamita,” Omamba said.
