Kitengela police in Kajiado county have launched a manhunt for a man who murdered and dumped his girlfriend on the road.

The suspect reportedly strangled his lover, wrapped the body in a gunny bag then hired boda boda operators to take it to a bush.

Isinya police boss Kinyua Mugambi said the riders “leftt it on the road. My officers have already launched a manhunt for the suspect”.

A neighbor said after killing the woman, the neighbour called a boda boda rider to dump the body.

“He strangled his lover on Friday night and hired a boda boda operator at 5am on Saturday to take it to a bush in Kyangombe area, they disagreed on the price. Another rider also refused the offer,” a neighbour said.

After the argument, the riders are said to have hurriedly left the scene with the “luggage”, which they abandoned on the road.

The body was found and police took it to City Mortuary for a postmortem examination.
