#KCSE2019 Top 10 Under age candidates (16 years and below)

The Cabinet Secretary for Education Prof. George Magoha released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, three days earlier than the previous year’s results.

This year, CS Magoha noted there was an improvement compared to last year as out of the more than 600,000 students who sat for KCSE 2019, 125,746 of them managed to get a mean grade of C+ that is required to join the university on government sponsorship.

51 percent of the candidates who sat this year’s KCSE were male while 49 percent were female, with 17 counties producing more female candidates than males.

Here are the top 10 underage candidates:

  7. Marion Naikena – Kipsigis Girls
  8. Muema Moses Kayama – Alliance High School
  9. Joshua Saitoti – Nyeri Baptist
  10. Mugo Stacey Nelima – Pangani Gilrs High School
