Migori MP Dennitah Ghati has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta not to dismiss the cabinet over Deputy President William Ruto assassination claims.

Ghati said DP Ruto should instead lodge an official complaint with the police to ease the current political tension in the Country.

The ODM nominated MP termed calls by a number of her colleagues to have the cabinet disbanded as a coup a temp.

“It is sad that the attempt on assassination by Ruto has created political tension which has seen it being used in rallies, this is uncalled for,” Ghati said.

The legislator challenged DP Ruto to come out clear and address the issue instead of living it to politicians to discus in political rallies.

“Government is yet to receive any formal complain from Ruto, the country too has watched as he has chose to skip from addressing the matter. The matter should be ignored,” she said.

Ghati said the claims by the Deputy President were grave and should not be used to fuel political tension in the country.
