Be calm, i am heading to Uhuru Park for swearing in- Raila to supporters

NASA leader Raila Odinga has called on his supporters across the country to be calm as the crowd at Uhuru Park is getting impatient.

Raila and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka are expected to be sworn in today.

Earlier in the morning, government switch-off of TV transmission on free to air channels by Communications authority, a  move which Raila condemned.

Speaking to KTN’s Radio Maisha, Raila said it was unfortunate that Citizen TV, KTN and NTV were shut down after they defied a warning not to air live the controversial swearing-in.

Earlier on NASA CEO Norman Magaya said the coalition was unmoved by threats from Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome over the planned event.
