A watchman has been killed and a store he was guarding on Sunday night stolen in Namba area, Migori town.

The man aged 46 years was guarding the premises selling motorbikes and spare-parts when unknown number of thugs attacked him on Sunday night.

Migori police commander Mark Wanjala said a total of 18 motorbikes were stolen and several spare parts taken away.

“Police have taken over investigations over the incident, the body has been taken to Migori Referral hospital for post mortem examinations,” Wanjala said.

The guard worked at TVS motorbike model shop before the attack.

The shop which was attacked
