Suna West police are holding a form two student from Nyango Mixed Secondary School for murder of his class six primary school girlfriend.

The suspect is held at Piny Oyie police station after he was arrested when he tried to hide at his aunt’s home after the body of the lover was found at daw, hundred meters from their home.

Kirengo assistant chief Fred Opiyo said the body was found with deep cut on the head and was taken to Migori Referral Hospital mortuary by police who have launched investigations.

“The deceased is a class six girl aged 15 years old and a student at a local private primary school and we suspect might have spent the night at the deceased’s house when the incident happened,” Opiyo said.

Villagers said the boy whose parents recently build for him a bachelor’s hut might have brought the woman for ‘celebratons’ when the ordeal happened.

The motive behind the murder is yet to be established as the minor is expected to be charged with murder related charges.
