Suna East MP Junet Mohammed’s wife Dekah roots for IDs

Suna East MP Junet Mohammed’s wife Dekah Jamaa has rooted for ease of acquiring national IDs and voters card in Migori town.

Dekah said all residents irrespective of their tribe should be given equal rights in acquiring he two vital documents to help boost voters to help Cord leader Raila Odinga to be the next president of the republic.

Jamaa said Muslims and other tribes living in Migoriare faced with longer process to get the vital documents insisting “all Kenyans have a right to live in any part of Kenya.”

She added” “Most applicants were born in Migori and because their names show their tribes are from outside they face longer times in getting IDs,”

Dekah said she will work closely with Imams in all mosques in Suna East constituency to ensure all Muslims acquire IDs and voters card to boost voters’ registration ahead of next general elections.

She was addressing residents on Thursday at Muslim Primary School when she donated food stuff from Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and area MP Junet Mohammed to four mosques in Migori town.

The donation was given to both Muslims and Christians who turned up in celebration of Ramadhan.
