Sh4m bhang impounded in Migori

Migori police have impounded bhang worth Sh4milllion at Ragana village, next to Tom mboya Primary school.

Both the driver and the vehicle owner escaped and left behind their vehicle, KBZ 166T Toyota Wish. when they realised police had trailed them from Tanzania.

Speaking to Migori News, Migori County Administration Police Commander Peter M. Kisilu said the bhang which was stashed in six bags was set to be sold in Mombasa and Nairobi.

“We suspect that the goods were being transported from Tanzania to Mombasa for sale,” he said.

Kisilu said that the public should be vigilant enough to disclose any information to the police adding that the identity of the source will always be kept secret.
