Rongo woman caught with two men abandons husband and two children

Residents of Chamgiwadu village in Migori County’s Rongo sub-county are reeling in shock after they discovered a woman was living with with two men.

Maurine Atieno a fishmonger has been living with two men under one roof drawing the attention of suspicious villagers.

According to the area chief David Onyango, Atieno is married to Robert Ochieng’ with whom they have sired two children but decided to bring another man, John Ochola, to their matrimonial home.

The two  reportedly insisted that they stay at the home.

Onyango said the two men and woman together with two children from had lived under one roof for  two weeks when villagers got wind of what was  going on.

The angry villagers had threatened the trio with ‘dire consequences’ for tolerating what they termed as a taboo before they were rescued by the local administration.

But Chief Onyango said despite being arrested, there was no legal ground to charge the three adding that they were considering other ways to resolve the matter.

In a meeting chaired by the chief, Ochola was ordered to relocate to his home  and leave Atieno’s matrimonial home.

Speaking to the press shortly after the meeting, Atieno said she was going to abandon his children for Ochola who is her loyal customer.

Ochola’s mother who authenticated the his marriage said Atieno was a frequent visitor to their home in Kisumu.
