Rongo Secondary school principal, three to spend 10 days in remand over KCSE cheating

The suspects before court, they did not take plea

The principal of Rongo Secondary School will spend ten days at Kamagambo Police station over KCSE irreguarity.

Francis Akoth, the center manager was charge together with Job Mamayi, the supervisor, Florence Auma and George Magambo.

They appeared before Rongo Senior Resident Magistrate Raymond Langat, but did not take plea.

The magistrate ruled that the four would be remanded to allow time for state to do investigation and to prevent interference with key witnesses who were learners at school.

The state council noted that witnesses statements that had been recorded together with submissions of recovered materials were to be taken for forensic analysis.

The case will be mentioned in April 9.
