A probox driver is on the ran after an accident which killed an infant and injured eight others.
The road accident that occurred along Rongo – Homa Bay road.

According to the eye witness who never wanted to reveal his name, the pro box that was moving from Rongo town was being driven at a very high speed, lost control and overturned upon reaching Kasere Village In Rongo Sub county – Migori county.

According to the doctor’s report, one child aged 1 and a half years whose name was established as Arnold Gustego died on arrival at the hospital while the other 8 passengers had minor injuries though they were all transferred to H/Bay hospital for further treatments.

Confirming the incident Rongo OCPD Jonathan Muganda Kisaka said that the vehicle has been taken to Kamagambo police station and the police have already started the investigation as they are also trying to pursue the driver who escaped and is still at large.
