Addressing students and participants in the teachers colleges mathematics symposium in Migori the principal termed the vice as a letdown in the teaching profession and wants the trainees to curb the vice right from the college examinations that they will be doing as a way of fighting the vice among the teachers still in colleges.

She said that the teaching profession has been under intensive pressure to perform well and also prepare students and pupils for any other exams without resorting to cheating.

The biggest challenge that the profession has is to curb examination cheating that has become rampant in many parts of the country as students in colleges engage in exam cheating that affects their performance when they get into the practical aspects of the profession as some of them fail to deliver and perform better.
