Nyatike MP aspirant Robley Ngoje has met with ODM leader Raila Odinga in a key political move ahead of next polls.

Ngoje paid Odinga a courtesy call at his Karen home.

“We discussed various issues of mutual interest including his bid for the African Union Commission (AUC) where we discussed how we can rally professionals to step in to make a contribution to this important agenda,” Ngoje said.

“Jakom was upbeat about clinching the seat but recognized the task ahead,” he added.

The meetings solidify Ngoje as an ODM insider after his political forays in Nyatike in a bid to unseat the incumbent Tom Odege.

A fortnight ago Ngoje was denied entry in a funds drive organised by Odinga’s spokesman Denis Onyango.

He was branded a UDA mole, a move he has debunked.
