Homa Bay Town Opondo Kaluma drumming support for Peter MAsara t Piny Oyie

Suna West MP Peter Masara who won his seat on independent ticket should be considered for a direct ODM ticket in 2022 general elections.

Homa Bay MP Opondo Kaluma said for the three years the legislator was elected he has walked closely with the party and spurred development in the area.

“I have told my brother Junet Mohammed that when he will be looking kindly at loyalists in ODM primaries, he should look closely at his neighbour the way he looks kindly at us,” Kaluma said.

He said to the outside world, Piny Oyie center which is Suna West headquarters have been ignored for long until the legislator was elected.

“In this short period a bush has been turned into a thriving center which will be scaled up to help Piny Oyie turn into a town,” Kaluma said.

His sentiments was shared by Junet and Mwea MP Wachira Kabinga who lauded the legislator for his development track record.

“This is the first time for me to come to Piny Oyie and we are impressed by changing the town to augur well with Migori Town. We are going to ensure a borehole is drilled at the headquarters,” Junet said.

Kabinga said in parliament and committee meetings Masara has been in forefront in championing for development in his constituency.

“I have come to Suna West and saw some of his pleas like vehicles for police and more staff in the new sub-county i will help amplify his voice,” Kabinga said.
