Suna East MP aspirant Elijah Odhiambo has been awarded the best performing executive in a recent county gala extravaganza in Mombasa.

The event was organised in Sarova Whitesands Hotel Mombasa.

Odhiambo, until February was the the county executive in-charge of Lands docket where he resigned to fully focus on his launching his political career as a member of parliament.

He was feted with a certificate, trophy and gold plated wall plaque.

“We give all thanks to God for this achievement, i know we will reciprocate the exemplary work to make Suna East constituency a better place,” Odhiambo said.

Previously, Odhiambo also held the Water and Energy docket and has been a key figure and development fulcrum that has been anchoring the administration of governor Okoth Obado.

He helped in securing title deeds and allocation of land for multi-billion wold bank projects that is building the Ombo Market in Suna East constituency, recreational park in Awendo constituency and Rongo bus park.

He also ensured the flagship Awendo KMTC campus, Dede Market and other markets across the county and offices were allocated adequate land for development.

He also help drill several water points and boreholes in schools and market places.
