Grief engulfed Alendu area, Nyatike sub-county as a man killed himself to protest his wife’s infidelity.

Jared Ouma Olunga, 26, first tried to commit suicide by drinking two bottles of pesticide which failed forcing him to hang himself with a rope in his kitchen.

Earlier at night the deceased had quarreled with his wife Mourine Atieno, 24, over accusation of her prostitution and affair with seven men he listed in a suicide note.

The suicide note also said he had resorted to commit suicide so that his wife Maurine Atieno, 24, could continue with her prostitution life.

Peter Ochanda, the Alendu Sub-Chief said the body was taken to Homa Bay Mortuary for Post Mortem examination.
