Kuria West MP Mathias Robi and his Kuria East counterpart Marwa Kitayama are among legislators allied to Deputy President William Ruto who want Majority Leader Aden Duale retained.

The two Jubilee legislators are among a list of 119 legislators who have signed pact to help Duale who is set to be axed by colleagues allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria in his Facebook page posted a list of the legislators he said will side with Duale with Robi being number 16 in the last and Kitayama at number 112.

“We will stand with Hon Aden Duale,” Kuria posted.

Within 10 minutes the post had attracted over 1,000 reactions with 470 comments.

Already reports indicate that 117 Jubilee MPs have signed a petition asking Uhuru to sack Duale.

Duale has dismissed the ploy led by Kanini Kega.
