Migori county government failure in the health sector has reached acute level as an acute shortage of Anti-Retro Viral drugs.

Earlier the sector has been faced with lack of medicine with patients forced to pay for toilet, food and water despite Governor Okoth Obado launching Sh18million drugs less than two months ago.

“September my viral load was high, when I asked the doctor I was told the drugs I am using from a public hospital were fake,” a victim told KBC Channel 1.

Patients said they have also been discriminated against while seeking the medicine at the hospital.
