Migori prepared as 34,071 KCPE candidates sit for examinations

Close to 34,071 Kenya Certificate Primary Education candidates in Migori County kicked off their exams this morning with the assurance of smooth exercise from security agencies.

Suna East Deputy County Commissioner Kibe Maguta speaking after the dispatch of the first day exams said enough government vehicles were being used to deliver exams to all examination centers.

Kibe said the government has all-weather vehicles that will deliver exams in real-time despite adverse rainy weather.

The DCC detailed that all exam centers were protected areas adding that needed security personnel had been approved to ensure learners go own with their exams without any hindrances.

All schools in Suna East had their exams dispatched by 7:00 am a scenario Maguta described as remarked. He said they had planned that all schools receive their exams on time in the next two remaining days.

Last week Regional Director of Education Willy Machocho led county security agencies and education officials at Migori Teachers College ground to discuss best approaches on exam security after Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha said there possible plans to in Migori national exams.
