This comes as Kenya National Union of Nurses issued a strike notice that has affected several counties.

Nurses from Migori County will not be taking part in the strike.

Speaking to Migori News KNUN Migori chair Maurice Achochi said the County Government had sorted their perks.

“The return to work formula that was signed by the county government has been fully implemented as earlier agreed in November 2017 during our previous strike that lasted five months.” he said.

According to Achochi the County Referral hospital is expecting patients from Homabay, Kisii and Narok Counties.

The hospitals administrator Castri Otuoma, lauded the County government for acting speedily to avert the looming crisis.
