Angry Migori MCAs led the public to storm the Kenya Power offices within Migori town to seek redress over frequent power blackouts.

Kenya Power officers and manager escaped through the nearby bushes to avoid the fury of the crowd.

The crowd organised demonstrations within streets of Migori town for more than an hour and vowed to continue with the same until the matter is resolved.

Acting speaker Boaz Okoth said the power outage in Migori is now alarming and they will never allow the power supplier to continue ruining the county economy.

“We want them to tell Migori residents publically why we can go for days with power. This is unbearable.” He said.

They wanted the manager to be transferred from Migori over the constant blackouts.
