After being locked out in bungled Orange Democratic Movement primaries for Senator seat, former party’s county John Magaiwa has bounced back with a new outfit.

The man from Mabera center in Kuria West constituency has helped formed a new party on June last year to help give politicians locked out of major party primaries an alternative.

He is now the national chairman of Citizen Convection Party (CCP) which he told Migori News he will use for Kuria West MP race in 2017 to replace the current incumbent United Republican Party’s Mathias Robi.

“The party will be keen in fielding candidates in county and national sears in 2017 elections in key of strengthening democracy by having free and fair nominations,” he said.

He added: “I will be in the race for the seat under the new party and I have already started campaigning for the seat”
