Kodero Bara comes second in Rongo, third in Migori with good results

Kodero Bara Secondary School came second in Rongo sub-county after Kanga School and emerged third in Migori county with a 9.5 mean score in just released Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education results.

Students from the school erupted in joys and mob streets of Rongo Town as they celebrated the results of 167 students.

School’s principal Jim Agutu told Migori news over 102 students got a B plain and above to guarantee a direct place in the university.

“Out of the candidate 160 students scored C+ and above, with only seven being left out,” he said.

Agutu said the school sought to attain 9.5 mean score target in this year examination in a school of 1,104 students with 26 TSC teachers and 13 BOM employed teachers.

“We have three Cs fomular for passing: Contact between teachers and students, right Conten and creating Confidence,” Agutu said.

He said the school currently has 405 form one students which has forced them to build two iron sheet classrooms to accommodate them.

“The Rongo CDF has promised to give us three classrooms while parents will build one,” he said.

Hillary Ojwang’, a form three student lauded the candidates saying they will replicate the results and even score more.
