Migori woman representative Pamela Odhiambo has vowed she will be in the ballot to replace governor Okoth Obado in the forthcoming services.

Odhiambo said she is sure with the spirit of Building Bridges Initiative in the forthcoming referendum, Kenyans should add to Kitui governor Charity Ngilu and Kirinyaga’s Anne Waiguru to female governors list.

“In the spirit of BBI i will be the next Migori governor,” she said.

She was speaking at Piny Oyie when she meet youth and women groups from Kwa ward to sensitize them on the BBI report.

“The biggest beneficiary of the report is women leaders which offer more space for the need to push for a referendum,” Odhiambo said.

She said currently the country still lacks on gender parity in leadership and is being lopsided in favour of men.

She said party nominations in places were party are dominate should favour women governors.
